Life Abroad: The Eats (Part 1)

I’m back from abroad! I’m exhausted, but so beyond grateful to have had such an amazing opportunity and trip. For those who don’t know, I went to Scotland and England for five weeks doing a Psychology focused study abroad program through my university. It was an absolute whirlwind; 9 cities, 3 countries, and countless memories later, I’ve learned quite a bit about myself and picked up a bit of travel wisdom! Before I get into the deep stuff, I owe you all some serious foodporn since I’ve been slacking on coming up with many new recipes lately.

If you follow my instagram, you may have seen some of these already, but they are still drool-worthy…

Dundee, Scotland: Traditional lunch featuring the quintessential Scottish beverage (bright orange and bubble gum flavored) and DELICIOUS popcorn (I had to pick up a few more bags after this)

St. Andrews, Scotland: A three course (three hour long..) lunch at a local farm to table restaurant. This was my amazing appetizer–baked goat cheese and red onion parcel

Dundee, Scotland: Of course I had to try the local health foods! This chocolate orange cookie was DELICIOUS!

Dundee, Scotland: A goodbye dinner never tasted so good…lemon caper sole topped with prawns and beautiful green beans and sautéed tomatoes.

After two weeks in Scotland, I packed it up and moved to London! During first weekend in London, I took off with a great new friend to explore AMSTERDAM!

Amsterdam, Netherlands: Our hotel, Citizen M, was the COOLEST place…and I’m not just saying that because they gave us free breakfast!
